Empowering Information Access Rights

Developing a Trilingual Machine Translation System for English, Nepali, and Tamang.

About the Project

Our project, "Empowering Information Access Rights: Developing a Trilingual Machine Translation System for English, Nepali, and Tamang", is supported by Google under its Society-Centered AI program. The main goal is to make information easily available to people who speak different languages in Nepal. By building a translation system for English, Nepali, and Tamang, we aim to help everyone understand and share information in their own language. In the future, we plan to expand the system to include other languages spoken across Nepal.
